Sisters of ’77 (The Spirit of Women)

Tells the story of the first federally-funded National Women’s Conference which brought 20,000 women from around the United States to Houston, Texas, in 1977 to work out an agenda for women’s rights. Using archival footage and interviews, the film captures an historical event that changed the Women’s Movement forever.
